Beirut - A young man with
a hand held rocket-propelled grenade launcher in Palestinian camp called
Beddawi, which is north of Tripoli. I covered the intense internecine
fighting between the Palestinians. I ended up spending two months in Lebanon
on this story, my first trip there. I later made two more trips to the
country of Lebanon. During this period, each morning before 9:30 AM, the
situations nearly got me killed for two weeks straight. Out of a number
of difficult assignments I have done, I never had a run of bad joss like
that one. |
