The graffitti on the wall
at Abu Dis reminds us of another terrible ghetto. Abu Dis is situated
on the south-east slope of the Mount of Olives. The municipality of
Abu Dis is where the Palestinian parliament was supposed to be
located. It joins the West Bank to Jerusalem. The road that climbs
from Jericho and the Dead Sea comes to an abrupt halt in this East
Jerusalem neighborhood, five minutes from the walls of the Old City.
