The
Pope in Cuba

Several thousand people
attend the Pope's service in the Plaza de Revolution in Havana. |
Thirty minutes into the mass, I felt someone
tug on my leg. It was time to go, and I was escorted by undercover police
to the building, which was on the other side of the Plaza. We went up an
elevator, walk through the men's room, unlock a door where there were two
ladders leading up to hatch in the roof, forty feet up with no guard rails!
I strapped my four cameras around me and climbed hand over hand to the
hatch. Once up there, it was a wonderful view.
